Ferrington in Focus
If you set out to create a winery that celebrates pairing rich flavor with life,
this is the “home base.”
Ferrington Vineyard sits at the epicenter of the Anderson Valley—an ideal location for growing cool-climate varietals. The winery was purchased by Kurt Schoeneman in 1996, with an assist from daughter Sarah, who identified the property in her other life as a realtor.
We’re proud to add the Fathers + Daughters label to those of the fine wineries that source these grapes to produce exceptional wines. Discover our family winery below.
A place that makes grapes very happy.
Some grapes like it hot. Others, not so much. Much like the prized growing region of Burgundy, France, Ferrington Vineyard offers a cool-temperature climate and rich soil that are ideal conditions for growing premium Pinot Noir (as well as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer). It isn’t magic, it’s science…science combined with growing expertise cultivated for over four decades.
“Ferrington is located in one of California’s coolest growing regions. The Pinot Noir grapes are smiling.”
